‘Spot light on a Song’
Happy Friday! And although it’s February, I can smell Spring heading our way. Each day the sun lasts a few minutes longer and the daffodils have sprouted their stalks.
There is a terrific website called ‘No More Division’ that strictly listens and tries to support Indie Musicians. They write a ton of album reviews and share everything good about the little guys who work hard but hardly ever get heard.
So today I’m going to ‘Spot light’ one of these artists who calls himself, Nature’s Silence. I know very little about him, except that he is from my second home, sweet Chicago. Someone needs to help him on his PR a little but I’m going to do my best to show you what really matters—his songs. This guy has such a smooth sound in his playing— almost like Alexi Murdoch. Beautiful guitar fingerpicking with melodic keys. And his voice grabs me. What I love in particular is how he fills the space with just enough words allowing the music to really shine through to tell parts of the story. I really dig it. Here’s a preview to his full album he’s releasing sometime this year.
Strum a little….
