‘Spot light on a Song’
Get out your ‘fans’ music fans cause we’re breaking a heat record in the PNW. It’s hot here in these hills!
And to continue the theme of natural wonders that I witness here on a daily basis, tonight I celebrate the Blue Moon. A blue moon is defined as any time there is a second full moon during a calendar month. While most years have 12 full moons, this year has 13. And as you might expect, it’s rarely the color it’s named for.
And because I’m heading to hear one of my favorite Americana, rockabilly bands tonight, I will most definitely be beneath that beautiful bold star I’ve loved and watched for many years.
So today I ‘spot light’ another love of mine which I already have before; who sings us his words of that special phenomenon in outer space (and from my old Kentucky home….cause that’s where I observed it for two decades!)
So stay cool, grab a blanket and head for an evening under the stars—-once in a blue moon is a very special night.
Strum a little…..
