‘Spot light on a Song’

Spring has finally arrived after the soggiest winter I’ve experienced since moving to Seattle. I think Chicago had nicer weather this winter than we did. It’s so beautiful outside now; especially visually and the aromas of all the flowers in bloom.

Been busy playing my music this month so lets get to today’s ‘spot light’.  I have heard these angelic voices over the radio a few times. Another successful product from my neck of the woods, Portland, Oregon. Made up of three sisters, Natalie Closner Schepman and Allison and Meegan Closner, Joseph blends country with folk pop into a perfect recipe.

Their first album, Native Dreamer Kin, was self-released in early 2014. Their sophomore album I’m Alone, No You’re Not ,was produced by Mike Mogis in August, 2016.

Joseph chose their name as a tribute to the town of Joseph, Oregon, Kings of Leon, and their grandfather Jo. Keep your eyes and ears open for these gals!

Strum a little…..
