‘Spot light on a Song’
Oops….I blinked and it’s Friday again?! This feeling seems to be happening more frequently these days. I think that’s a good thing. It was a very good week because I wrote a new song, and anytime that occurs well— it’s worth a self-celebration. And even though the song is at its infancy stage, I have strong intuition it will mature with big impact.
Today’s ‘spot light’ is on a fun band. Every time a new song of theirs is played on the radio, I quickly look to see who it is because I love it. Sure enough, it’s usually Grouplove.
Grouplove formed out of a friendship between the five members of the band, while meeting on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in a commune. The drummer (and producer of their first two records), is also the son of former guitarist of Yes. YES!
This song is from their most recent album just released, Big Mess. With certainty, you’ll want to dance along.
Strum a little….
